Hi, I'm Michelle (a.k.a. Shell) - a self-confessed Canva addict...
I've always been creative, and before starting my VA business loved creating handmade cards - design has always been something I've loved. I started my VA business in 2018, but it wasn't until I discovered Canva six months later that I was able to bring that creativity into my business.
Whereas most people dread looking at a blank canvas, taking my client's vision and turning something boring into something magical that they felt excited and proud to share gave me so much joy. I KNEW that was what I wanted to spend my time doing, and so in 2022, I rebranded and became Shell Creative VA.
Now, I specialise in helping female creatives be more visible, make more impact and build powerful brands by creating high-quality, bespoke digital assets for their business. I work alongside clients offering done-for-you services but also adore teaching others to boost their skills and feel empowered to use Canva within their businesses. In 2022 I launched my free Facebook Community - The Canva Cafe, which has almost 3000 members.
I know how overwhelming it can feel trying to find your way around Canva, it feels like they add new features every day, when you haven't even mastered the basics.
